Domestic Violence has taken a hold on victims physically & mentally. Packing the “Purse for a Purpose” Drive provides all the essentials necessary for the survivors to reclaim their Independance.
The National Serenity House Care Group is a tax-exempted 501(c) (3) organization, with the mission and vision to aid domestic violence victims within communities. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for abused woman and children. The organization will provide affordable housing, individual & adolescent counseling and employee training. The ultimate goal of The National Serenity House Care Group to gain independence and create a path for our clients to familiarize themselves with healthy avenues to grow and achieve success through our program.
The National Serenity House Care Group was established in 2021, with one goal in mind… to assist women that are experiencing mental & physical abuse. Domestic Violence has become common in households all around the globe, statistics states ” 1 in 3 women have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner” It’s time to STOP the cycle!

Mrs. Smith takes a vision and makes it reality through sound strategy and development. She intuitively sees the threads of opportunity that wind through an organization, brings them together into a coherent whole, helps others extend their thinking, and is a material business advantage. She is an inspirational leader who tells stories that inspire action while at the same time is grounded with information that levers the business. Respected as a credible voice in decision making, finding strategic partners, and establishing governance boundaries, Mrs. Smith earns a seat at the table wherever she serves.

Tomica Simon
Ms. Simon has over 25 years of banking and customer service experience where she managed and supervised teams, counseled customers and members about credit, collected, processed, analyzed, and approved loans and went out in the community to do financial outreach. She is committed to community outreach and assisting others. Her belief is if we all can come together as one, we can build a better community! She has a do what you can mentality when it comes to helping others and she lives to inspire in whatever she does. She is a true inspiration who is also passionate about helping others achieve their goals in life and to meet their financial needs.

Nichole “Nikki” Davis-Kemp
Mrs. Davis- Kemp area of expertise surrounds a background in Education, Computer Science and Youth Outreach. I am very passionate about community service and various neighborhood and church organizations that center around giving back, breaking cycles and teaching generational wealth. There will always be a special place in my heart for single parents, youth and elderly. My role as active Secretary for Serenity House is to ensure that all day to day activities with our organization, sponsors and active members are implemented into document form for meeting minutes and record keeping purposes. This will also require assisting in facilitating meetings, scheduled events and other administrative duties as required.

Kenya Smith
Mr. Smith possess over 20 years of financial experience. He has experience of financial control and budgeting, and eye for detail, capable of handling figures and cash. Mr. Smith ha a general financial oversight, that oversee and present budgets, accounts and financial statements to the management committee. Mr. Smith plans to expand his knowledge in fundraising and sales in which this skill will contribute in an enormous way to the origination.

Tamara Godfrey
Mrs. Godfrey commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and organization, Tamara manages the business organization and operations at Success Labs. For 12 years, Tamara managed the daily business operations for Women’s Center for Wellness Fitness Center and Spa. She applies her expertise in accounting, management, business organization to help Success Labs run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. Tamara is the co-founder of Vibey Vegan Life that hosts annual festivals and other events. She is no stranger to curating events. In the past she was the co-founder of Jolly Jingles market for 8 years where she hosted market events for small and local businesses around Louisiana. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, shopping, skating, and teaching Zumba classes. My role as Board Program Director for National Serenity House is to develop fundraising strategies, formulate solicitation procedures, and oversee all fundraising activities. As Board Funding Director I will be the liaison with funding partners and organizations.

Dr. Sharon Franklin
Dr. Franklin believes in giving back to her community. With over 30+ combined years of mentoring in cosmetology, presiding on the board of directors with Louisiana Youth Travelers, working in the field of nursing and being a Certified Drafter in pipping, her mottos has always been, “You got to give back,” “Education is the key to success,” and “This is not a hustle, it is a career.” She has been successful in and devoted to saving the beauty industry, giving back to her community and supporting others in the Greater Baton Rouge Area. Dr. Sharon Franklin does this with both excellence and grace!

Lialika B. Taylor
Mrs. Lialika B. Taylor specializes in healthcare and communications, with a passion for helping others through encouragement and motivation. Her 10 plus year career extends across communications (BA), and healthcare (NRCCCMA) which includes leadership, teaching, medical management, community outreach, learning strategies, and motivational coaching and speaking. A proud graduate of Southern University A&M College obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcasting and Journalism. She connects with the public community daily with the occupations she currently holds within 2 major hospitals located in the city of Baton Rouge. She is involved in church ministries and organizations, as well as in her community displaying a great passion for youth. Recognized for her unique way to reach them and understand their views and communicate them with others for understanding not judgement. By doing so she believes this breaks cycles and eliminates ignorance, which leads to change and healthy environments.
Mrs. Lialika has a passion for learning as well as teaching, her motto “If you don’t know, how can you grow?” is used to encourage growth of the mind which leads to action and achievement. Bringing inspiration, healing, and change is her goal and passion as the Program Mentor Director within The National Serenity House Care Group. She believes learning and teaching with encouragement, motivation to make a change, and listening with understanding is the key!
